Why joining ABN AMRO Corporate Finance?

We give you five good reasons to join us:

  • At ABN AMRO Corporate Finance, we are able to offer a unique and integrated approach, combining independent M&A advice and strong execution capabilities with optimal banking solutions for our broad client base.

Examples of successfully closed transactions are SAUR’s acquisition of Nijhuis Industries, CWS’ acquisition of Vendor, Van Leeuwen Pipe & Tube’s acquisition of Benteler Distribution, Marel’s dual listing on Euronext Amsterdam, ICT Services carve-out KPN, and Bain Capital’s acquisition of Bugaboo.

Working environment

As Associate Director Corporate Finance, you are an essential member of our Corporate Finance Industrials & Business Services team. You will focus on various subsectors and themes such as Automotive/Mobility, Smart Technologies and Staffing & Consultancy.

  • You thoughtfully work with the client to support the full execution process of a complex merger, acquisition or disposal, including valuation and coordination of due diligence.
  • You are eager to originate and execute a broader type of financial events, including restructurings, capital markets opportunities such as IPOs and event-related capital raisings or complex debt financing opportunities.
  • You monitor and analyse the general market and sector trends, the performance of companies within the sector and identify M&A advisory opportunities.
  • You support your client in (preparations for) deal negotiations. You will closely work together with the deal team captain, helping transactional teams and – where relevant – other product specialists, ensuring timelines and the client’s objectives are met.

  • Contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members.
  • Strong desire to improve management and leadership skills.
  • Affinity with ABN AMRO’s vision and strategy, linked to sustainability, as well as its service concepts, business processes, organisation, products and services.
