What you will be doing
Our fast-growing ESG team has five focus areas: ESG Assurance, Climate & Biodiversity, Reporting & Strategy, Sustainable Finance & Responsible Investment, and Corporate Sustainability. As an Associate in the ESG team you’ll be working on a diverse engagement with all focus areas, contributing primarily to advisory engagements. Working with a ton of different experts in challenging environments will help you develop into an all-round ESG professional who can use their expert knowledge to make a positive difference for our clients. On the advisory side you will help with:

Calculating the carbon footprint of customers and supporting them in setting Net Zero targets, or analyzing climate-related risks and opportunities that an organization might encounter in different scenarios of climate change;

Implementing the SFDR and EU Taxonomy at financial institutions, or developing responsible investment strategies and translating these high-level strategies to investment decisions and processes, for example in ESG due diligence and ESG engagement tracks;

Supporting clients in complying with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), while determining an ESG vision and ambition and the translation hereof to their strategy and a roadmap for implementation and transformation;

Benchmarking clients against best practices in the market and competitors;

Aiding clients in the integration of biodiversity, human rights, and other ESG topics into their day-to-day processes.

You are interested in ESG, ESG reporting, and developments within this field, and you can show this by means of previous experience or schooling;

You hold a university master’s degree, with a minimum GPA of 7;

You speak and write fluent English;
