Financial Risk Manager (32 - 40 h/wk)
With your analytical background and hands-on mentality, you will help Triodos Bank improve its models and expertise in the area of Asset & Liability Management (ALM) and Stress Testing in order for the Bank to make the optimal business decisions.
Profile
Take action:
- Develop, manage and improve models for ALM and Stress Testing, covering interest rate, FX and liquidity risks.
- Apply and run risk models to analyse output and produce reports.
- Perform checks, reviews and keep internal procedures and guidelines up to date.
- Keeping up to date with knowledge and relevant external developments within your field.

You'll join the Group Valuations & Modelling team of currently 13 people. This is a young, friendly team of hard workers. With various ambitious goals and deadlines on the agenda, the team is guaranteed to have enough challenging work ahead. This position makes it possible to develop yourself (further) in a role as Financial Risk Manager. What you bring is your curiosity, analytic skills and quick adaptation to complex content. You are eager to keep up to date on the latest developments and regulation in the area of ALM and stress testing. You ask the right questions, work in a structured way and like to investigate everything in detail. With your pragmatic and social attitude, always ready to help someone, you're a born collaborator and you share our mission. Coordinating your work with colleagues and other internal stakeholders requires good communication skills.
This is complemented by:
- An academic degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, econometrics or physics
- Excellent command of English; command of Dutch is an advantage
- Preferably experience in the field of ALM, hedge accounting and Funds Transfer Pricing
- Eye for quality and efficiency improvement and innovation
- You have good Excel skills and experience and affinity with programming (e.g. VBA, R, Python, SAS)
