Your job
You're part of the eFX Trading team, which is responsible for providing pricing and managing market risk in all FX flow products (FX spot, FX Forwards, FX Swaps and NDFs). We are a new team consisting of around 6 (e)Traders. We have an interesting mix of talent and experienced Markets colleagues with a lot of energy and drive to outperform. We innovate every single day to stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing market.
To continue our position as a leading trading desk, we have a strong focus on analytical problem solving and development of cutting edge technology. This isn’t a solo effort; we rely on close collaboration with the rest of the FX chain, including sales and IT teams. Data is at the core of what we do – it forms the basis of the strategic decisions we make, both big and small. To further grow our capabilities, we are looking for a quantitative trader who will focus on the highly digitized FX spot product.
What will you do on a typical day?:
- Build, expand, and improve our electronic trading capabilities with a focus on pricing, managing risk and efficient execution. You will do this by conceiving and implementing customized pricing and hedging algorithms in cooperation with your IT and trading colleagues.
- Work closely with sales colleagues in analyzing data to optimize client pricing through the various channels we support, including highly competitive multi-dealer platform clients.
- Close collaboration with the IT team and external vendors to improve our technology stack and trading platform.
- Project oriented work aimed at further digitizing and automating workflows.
- Keep up with trends in eFX to develop a thorough understanding of market structure.
