Do you want to contribute to key activities of Rabobank’s risk management function? Are you interested in the bank’s risk appetite statement, in challenging its business plan, in identifying the bank’s material ESG topics, in helping us to formulate the risk strategy, design and maintain the risk framework, improve our policy framework, or report on the developments of a wide set of risk indicators to the bank’s senior management?
You and your job
As Senior Risk Manager in the Risk Framework team you will be responsible for designing, implementing, coordinating, and delivering a number of group-wide risk initiatives and products. You will work closely with risk specialists from other CRO departments like Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance, Group ALM, but also with representatives from business lines, subsidiaries, and group functions like CFO and Group Sustainability. Specialist knowledge is welcome, but it is a must to have a broad view of the detailed aspects of risk management and understand how these relate to the core activities of the bank.
Responsibilities
- The team is responsible for risk governance, risk strategy, risk identification, risk appetite, risk reporting (incl. BCBS 239), ESG materiality analysis, and the policy framework;
- We are a team with people that have broad experience in banking and risk management. Assignment of responsibilities to individuals in the team will be based on personal interests, experience and availability.

You and your talent
- Finance or Economics degree, preferably post-graduate level;
- Banking experience (5+ years);
- Risk management experience;
- Project management experience;
- Strong communicative- and stakeholder management skills; and/or
- Understanding of a bank’s regulatory environment.

- A gross monthly salary in the range of EUR 5,115 to EUR 8,793 (salary scale 10 or 11, based on experience and seniority);
