Your impact as Sustainability Risk Advisor at NN Investment Partners
In your role you will be one of the experts in our Risk Advisory team on everything related to sustainable finance and sustainability risk management. You will be driving our sustainability risk management framework to the next level, focusing amongst others on areas related to governance in order for it to be fit for the future.
Your responsibilities
- Keeping up to speed with regulatory and market developments (SFDR, EU Taxonomy, best practices on monitoring of sustainability risks, etc.)
- Translating these regulations into concrete requirements and the necessary controls and governance processes for risk management
- Contributing to the overall NNIP sustainability ambitions and internal risk management targets
- Improving and Implementing our Sustainability Risk Management framework
- Taking the lead in Sustainability projects and implementation on behalf of Risk Advisory
- Boosting the Sustainability risk knowledge of the Risk Management department
Who you are
- Passionate about sustainable finance, ESG, responsible investing
- Strong analytical skills
- University degree in Economics with emphasis on Sustainable Finance
- 2-5 years of professional experience in sustainability, ESG, responsible investing
- Knowledge of investments and risk monitoring techniques
- Excellent communicator and true team player
- Fluent in English (both verbal and written)
- Pro-active with change mindset
Your colleagues
The Risk Advisory team is one of the teams in the Financial Risk Management department, composed of 12 professionals from various ages and (international) backgrounds. The main focus of the team is to monitor and analyse portfolios from both an investment risk and return perspective. The team has an open and informal culture. The team acts as a sparring partner for the front office and reports to senior risk management.

As a Sustainability Risk Advisor you will be based in either The Hague, The Netherlands or in London, UK.
